Located inside the Phoenix Park Hotel, The Dubliner has two separate bars and two large dining areas, as well as an outdoor patio during the warmer months. The Guinness flows like the Nile in this place, and the food is as authentic as it can get in Washington. The menu pricing is somewhat expensive; a single meal with drinks can cost up to $50. Live Irish music fills the bar. Beware the sing-alongs: a time when this place really gets fun. Only a block down Massachusetts Avenue from Union Station, The Dubliner is also a great spot to kill downtime between transportation - enjoy some Irish pub fare and a thick Irish beer in the afternoon while you bury your nose in a copy of "Ulysses".
